Correct. Though forget about microtransactions here -- the Vita version not only comes with the extra 12 DLC characters and 38 alternate costumes for the core characters of the game, it also unlocks them all for the PS3 version as well. The only thing it doesn't come with is the Alt costumes for the 12 DLC characters, iirc.

It's the reason AWD lists as condition something like "not all content may be available"

Remember Me is definitely worth checking out for free -- yes, the combat is uninspired, repetitive combo-based button presses, but the aesthetic is pretty great, especially if you're a fan of dystopian settings. It also has some really nifty, unique sequences where you go into people's memories and change minor details around to make the outcome entirely different. And the protagonist is great.
I was sad to see it underperform in sales.

But that free for + members is only for the Vita, right?
Isn't it free for PS3 now?
Decker | 02-17-14 03:17 PM |
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
No, it's never been free on PS Plus.

Can I unlock it on the PS3 without a Vita? Pretty sure I have this somewhere in my unplayed pile.

hmm... was it real cheap last week or something? I downloaded it and thought it was free...

Hmm... it shows I "purchased" it last October... guess I will look at my licenses the next time I boot up the console.

Yeah, according to that link I posted, buying the game digitally automatically confers ownership of the DLC as well. I bought a physical copy and went through all sorts of hell getting that DLC (the code that came with it only unlocked the bonus characters' alt costumes - which was supposed to be the pre-order DLC). Took like 6 weeks to get everything straightened out.

Are you sure it was the actual full game and not just some free piece of DLC? Looking through the PS Blog, I don't think the game has even gone on sale yet.
BTW : I suppose they could have made it so the free DLC bundle doesn't come free with the free version of SF X Tekken Vita. It is a seperate item, after all. But I still think it will be free with the PSN "purchase". We will see tomorrow, I guess.

Yes - it shows the $29.99, but instead of buy or add to cart, it says Download to PS3.
I just checked my E-mails since they send a receipt and I bought it on 10/17/13 for $13.99

Yep. I loved this game. I actually never tried to learn to play it the right way, didn't work on created good combos and that kind of things. But the story was great and I just concentrated on that. The ending was good too for this kind of game too.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Looking forward to checking this one out. How long a game is Remember Me if you're not a completionist?
Raul3 | 02-18-14 07:52 AM |
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
It may be around 10 hours in normal, if you don't have issues with the combat/combo system. I never tried to learn it the proper way, so I was dying too much, but not enough to be frustrating.

I've always been curious about the Warriors game. Might have to grab that at such a low price.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
I think there was a good one and a crappy one. I'm not sure which Warriors game this PSP title is a port of.

Got Strider on PS4 (doubt there's a difference between platforms). So far so good!
slop101 | 02-21-14 10:09 AM |
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Okay, played a bit of Strider last night, and it's f*cking awesome. If you're at all a fan of the original and/or a fan of action-platformers, do yourself a favor and download this - $15 is a steal.
Both the controls and the art design are so great.

Thanks Decker!
Great price on Dragon's Crown ($17.49) and Ni No Kuni ($6.99). I think this price for Ni beats the sale back in December too.
Tempted by these for PS3:
Wolf Among Us Season Pass
Injustice
I'm trying to hold off on buying games that are available for PS4 since I will get one later this year. How does Injustice PS3 vs PS4 pan out? PS4 that much better?
Supermallet | 02-24-14 12:55 PM |
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Yeah, the season pass of Wolf Among Us is tempting.
Edit: Except I forgot I ordered it already for PC.
