How to Take Part
By watching streams in Twitch’s Sea of Thieves category on Community Weekend, you can help to raise the combined Community Emissary Grade. Every time this shared Grade increases, it acts as a multiplier and all players can earn more gold, reputation, Seasonal Renown, Allegiance and Guild Reputation! Take it all the way up to Grade Five to enjoy rewards two-and-a-half times greater than usual. You must be logged in to Twitch to contribute to the Community Emissary Grade, so head over to twitch.tv to get started.
Watching eligible streams will also help you unlock Twitch Drops: the Stormy Sea Dog Concertina, Eastern Winds Sapphire Silken Gloves, Sage Sea Dog Bucket and Eastern Winds Sapphire Padded Belt. A special fifth Twitch Drop will also become available if players manage to collectively dive to and complete 100,000 Voyages during Community Weekend: the Obsidian Captain’s Bed! Keep an eye on your Twitch inventory to track how you’re doing.
As always, Twitch isn’t the only source of free cosmetics. Simply log in to Sea of Thieves during this Event to pick up the blue-and-green Season 12 Community Weekend Flag to decorate your crow’s nest, as well as the Performing Pup Emote.
Pop-Up Plunder
It’s back! Throughout Season 12 Community Weekend, Pop-Up Plunder will be periodically triggered, causing tantalising treasures to show up somewhere on the map. You’ll receive an in-game notification when this happens, but to find it you’ll need to unravel clues shared on Sea of Thieves’ social media channels.
You’ll want to hurry too, with only one prize per server which will disappear after an hour if unclaimed! And keep an eye on your ship’s map, as once the treasure is uncovered, it’ll be pinpointed by a marker for other crews to pursue until it’s successfully cashed in…
Picture Walls
Another player favourite returns: for the duration of Season 12 Community Weekend, special Picture Walls will appear at every Outpost for all your pirate selfie needs, each with its own grog barrel for maximum convenience when sharing a celebratory toast. Be sure to share your best snapshots with us!
Raid Voyages
Not sure how to kick off your Community Weekend? Why not set out on a Raid Voyage to a mighty Skeleton Fort? For the duration of this Event, all players can take part in these high-level Voyages on behalf of the Gold Hoarders, Merchant Alliance, Order of Souls and, if you’re a Pirate Legend, Athena’s Fortune! We’ve even thrown in an extra single-use Legend of the Veil Voyage for everyone, Pirate Legend or not...
Win the Emporium!
As if all that wasn’t enough, we’re also hosting an extra-special Emporium Extravaganza Raffle! One lucky entrant will be selected at random to receive everything currently available from the Pirate Emporium, while 100 runners-up will be awarded a Season 13 Plunder Pass.
To get involved, all you need to do is sign up via the Emporium Extravaganza page and enter by claiming the free Self High Five Emote from the Pirate Emporium before June 17th (10am UTC)!

Yes, in order to help push forward the Community Emissary Grade, you’ll need to be logged in with your Twitch account and watching streams in the Sea of Thieves category.
Head on over to twitch.tv/seaofthieves and select either the Log In or Sign Up button in the top right of your browser.
